So what are you doing tomorrow evening?

Because
from 8-11pm, there is a rally and show that will be very fun and sexy,
and also extremely important. I think it would be just great if all 861
of us went down there together!

What is this thing about? Well
basically there is some major business going down at St Laurent and St
Catherine, with the City using expropriation laws to perform some
pretty brutal social engineering and get rid of Cabaret Cleopatra
(which has rightfully existed there for 35 years).

There's a
coalition of artists and other people who've put together an incredibly
reasonable and conciliatory counter-proposal, and on Saturday night
they're looking get the word out that they are playing for serious.
They're trying to negotiate directly with the developer who's planning
to tear down their whole block, so they need all the weight they can
get behind them!
